Honoring Morris Word: Recycling for a Cause

As we remember and honor our beloved Morris Word, we continue to carry out his legacy through a heartfelt initiative. If you knew Morris, then you know he loved his bicycle and was always collecting cans. So now, throughout the year, we collect aluminum cans, recycling them to raise funds. With the money earned, we aim to bring joy to deserving children by providing them with bicycles or other “wheeled” toys at Christmas.

Together, we celebrate the legacy of Morris Word, spreading joy and hope through recycled cans and the gift of a new bicycle for children in need at Christmas.

~Cans can be dropped off at Minor Hill City Hall the week leading up to our pick-up dates.
